WHERE WE BEGAN
Our story began with a leadership event. It grew as people carried what they learned back to their teams, organizations, and communities.
THE EARLY YEARS
Leadercast’s roots reach back to John C. Maxwell and the Maximum Impact event at the turn of the millennium. What began as a half-day, classroom-style gathering grew into a full-day conference, connecting audiences with experienced leadership voices.
2010
Maximum Impact Simulcast became Chick-fil-A Leadercast through a partnership between Chick-fil-A and GiANT Impact. Broadcasts brought the experience to local host sites, giving organizations and communities a way to learn together.
BEYOND THE EVENT
Live gatherings became part of a broader experience. On-demand content gave leaders a way to revisit ideas, start team conversations, and keep developing between events.
A TURNING POINT
The pandemic disrupted the live events that had brought Leadercast audiences together. Following an ownership change, the team saw an opportunity to build on its library of leadership talks—connecting the annual gathering with learning that continues throughout the year.
2025
Leadercast celebrated its 25th anniversary with its first live event in Kansas City, at The Midland Theatre. The milestone opened another chapter in a story built around bringing people together.
WHAT GUIDES US
Wisdom comes first. It shapes our character, how we treat people, and the purpose we serve. These four beliefs guide how we help leaders develop the judgment to choose well and the courage to follow through.
Good judgment draws on experience, perspective, and reflection. We help leaders understand the thinking behind the tools, so they can respond thoughtfully when circumstances change.

Every decision affects people. We believe leadership starts with seeing, serving, and developing them—and creating the conditions for them to do meaningful work.

Leadership carries a responsibility that reaches far beyond a title. Our decisions shape people’s work, their confidence, their families, and their communities. We owe them the commitment to keep growing into the leaders that responsibility requires.
For us, that begins with wisdom—and the humility to recognize that it does not begin with us. Leadership is a trust. We are responsible for how we use our influence, how we care for the people entrusted to us, and what we leave behind. That calls us to seek truth, examine our motives, and listen for guidance beyond our own experience and ambition. That is the foundation we are building on at Leadercast.
Wisdom must lead to action. Doing what is right can cost us comfort, recognition, or an easier result. We may need to have a conversation we have avoided, admit we were wrong, keep a promise under pressure, or stand beside someone who needs our support. Those decisions require courage. They are where our convictions become visible.
We want Leadercast to help develop leaders whose character can be trusted under pressure. Leaders who pursue results while honoring people, and who use their influence to serve a purpose larger than themselves.
For more than twenty-five years, Leadercast has brought people together to learn. Our responsibility is to help that learning take root throughout the year. A conference can open someone’s eyes to a new possibility. A short lesson can prepare a manager for a difficult conversation. A team can watch a session together and decide what they will do differently. That is how inspiration becomes practice.
