Every business needs what I call CPR, sometimes. And those CPR things, it needs celebration, the C. It needs prioritization. You need to remember what your priorities are, go back to that. And it needs recognition. You got to recognize your team members.

I kind of view it for me and I think other leaders need to see it this way, as if every day I'm walking around with an invisible watering can and sprinkling our team members with just a little bit of water to help them grow a little bit today and to motivate them. Not to douse them, but to sprinkle with them out of the watering can, if you will, that encouragement and the ideas and all the things you need to do. So carry around that invisible watering can. Sometimes you gotta pull up weeds. Most of the time, you're watering your team members.

Resilient businesses celebrate a lot. They recognize a lot. And for me, a business that is resilient is the difference between an old broom and a new broom. The new broom sweeps the floor, the old broom knows the corners. And when you're running a business and you know your corners, everything you do will advance your business forward the right way.

It will be fun. It will be exciting. It will be fascinating for the people there, and they'll wonder, "What's around the corner? What's around the corner?" And they'll engage in the intellectual pursuit of the business and it will be fascinating because of that.

Every great culture covers the four Fs, fun, fascination, future, I want to be part of something that has a future, and financial. Those are the four Fs for me.
