10 April Fools’ Pranks for Meetings

April Fools’ Day falls on a Saturday this year, which makes it challenging to pull off an office prank — unless you start early. That’s why we’re presenting an encore viewing of a short video we put together just before The Brave Ones Leadercast Live event. Watch the 10 pranks you probably shouldn’t pull in your next meeting, because you just might be asked to leave. (You can decide if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.)

Here’s your viewing guide – see if you can catch all 10 pranks:

  1.  Obnoxiously send emails with your speaker volume up.
  2.  Bring sizzling fajitas for your lunch.
  3.  Forget a colleague’s name? Just take a guess.
  4. Tell everyone how you really feel.
  5. Load up on donuts. Hey, they’re free.
  6. Synchronize your pen clicks. Might be the most annoying one on the list
  7.  Interrupt the meeting to encourage a team outing to the Cheesecake Factory.
  8.  Attach Girl Scout cookie order forms to the meeting agenda.
  9.  Arm wrestle. Hey, at least we learned Stan’s name! Score one for teamwork.
  10.  Multitask with no shame. #SorryNotSorry
