Ivo Philbert is an innovative, energetic and experienced strategic leader with proven success in improving bottom line results by focusing on strategy, business development, people development, and image and branding.
Ivo is vice president for external relations and special projects at The Jackie Robinson Foundation in New York City, where he also formerly served as chief program officer. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of the foundation's Mentoring and Leadership Development Program, including the scholarship selection process and scholarship grants made, monitoring and evaluating the program to ensure efficacy and standardization, supervising the JRF Program staff, maintaining liaisons with the Program's constituencies, and working closely with the president and CEO to develop the ongoing programmatic vision and strategic planning.
Along with his work at the Foundation, Ivo is president and CEO of IVO Consulting LLC. This company provides consulting services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations to help them stay focused on strategy, process, people and performance. Ivo and his team also provide training seminars to foster sharing of ideas and thoughts, as well as individual coaching to reinforce learning concepts and help maintain a focus on self-development.
Prior to working at The Jackie Robinson Foundation, Ivo spent 10 years in various leadership roles with INROADS, a group that creates relationships between with companies around the country and undergraduate students with the intention to develop and place talented underserved youth in business and industry and prepare them for corporate and community leadership.
