Adam Gould is the US Executive Director and Co-Founder of eduKenya, a Christian Non-Profit organization that provides transformational opportunities to the children and families of the Mathare Slum in Nairobi, Kenya using a self sustaining educational model. After graduating from college, Adam travelled to Kenya to participate in an internship program with Mavuno Church, part of the Nairobi Chapel. While there, he felt led to pursue education for children living in abject poverty.
In 2007, Adam founded the Kenya Children Project which provided the foundation for eduKenya. Adam received his undergraduate degree from Eastern University. While developing the Kenya Children Project, he received his Masters Degree from Eastern University in International Development, with a focus in advocacy and public policy. Adam is passionate about pursuing justice, through self sustaining, transformative opportunities, for communities where people are living in extreme poverty.
When not speaking, traveling and fundraising for eduKenya, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife Njeri, a native Kenyan, and their daughter Amani. As of December 2015, they will be residing in the Nashville area.
